USAF Police Alumni Association Beret Coin


Celebrate our heritage with a unique challenge coin that encompasses the spirit of our career field.


From the detailed flash featuring the USAF Police Alumni Association logo to the back with intricate detail of an American Flag background, USAF Police Alumni Association logo with two airmen one with a K9.


The coin is approximately 1 3/4" tall and 1/4" in thickness.


Each coin comes within it's own protective plastic pouch.


The Beret has long been a symbol of achievement. The first group to wear this unique head gear was the Strategic Air Command Elite Guard. Personally chosen by General LeMay in 1957 the dark blue beret became the symbol of the Security Police. Officially worn worldwide in 1976 after use by various localities and divisions of Security Police between the first selection in 1957 and the official head gear announcement in 1976.
