Randall Conrad - Historian - Board Member

The son of an Air Force Fighter Pilot, Randy broke ranks and joined the USAF at the age of 17. With a guaranteed job of Law Enforcement Specialist. Randy completed BMTS, Law Enforcement Tech School and ABGD at Camp Bullis, TX.  First assigned to the 5010th SPS @ Eielson AFB, AK, later to be the 343rd, then off to the 314th SPS at Little Rock, where he helped establish Volant Scorpion and acted as a constant OPFOR through his 2 years there, then on to Kwang Ju AB, ROK to serve as the NCOIC of Air Base Ground Defense, and then finally to Lackland, 3700 SPS. Took a small break to try civilian life, then back in for a few short years as a Medic, then back over to the 3700 SPS, Det 1, Armed Forces Police.  Rotated from there to 51st SPS Town Patrol at Osan, then to 82nd SPS  @ Williams AFB, Az, then to the 87th SPS.  NCO Academy Instructor and ALS Commandant followed, finalizing my career at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX.

Randy is currently the Director of Operations, US Navy Medicine Education, Training and Logistic Command, JBSA Fort Sam Houston. In this role, Randy leads a dedicated team of military and civilian personnel as they provide resource management, program management and oversee the business planning processes of NMETLC and its subordinate commands around the world. Part of the duties involved the responsibility to monitor command performance, provide for the execution of Navy Medicine's approach to performance improvement and over-see the execution of the Navy Medicine Data Quality Management Program.

Randy has been a strong supporter of the USAF Police Alumni Association.  He continues to spread the word and pass along information and coins whenever he can or the situation merits it.

Randy is married to Lisa (Hoover) Conrad and lives in San Antonio, Texas.  He has four children two sons, David and Michael and two daughter, Nichole and Megan.
