The Air Force continued to use the Air and Space Expeditionary Force (AEF) concept to deliver versatile and responsive total force air and space power to meet the war fighter's global security requirement. The AEF concept is the Air Force's vision for the 21st century to organize, train, equip and deploy forces for contingency operations while remaining ready to meet national crises.

Defenders all across the world continue to vigilantly stand post. From patrolling outside the wire to utilizing new technology to work smarter, we remain the tip of the spear.
